Housing state prices in the elite parts of Bulgaria's capital of Sofia have reached EUR8,000 per square meter, Bulgarian newspaper 24 Chasa reports Thursday.

There are such offers in the region around the Sofia University. "Only Bulgarians buy estates in Sofia's priciest places", the newspaper writes - "and these offers are 'swallowed" in 14 days".
