Fraport Twin Star Airport Management, a Fraport AG unit that operates Bulgaria's coastal airports Varna and Burgas under a concession arrangement, said it has set aside 50 mln euro for investment spending in 2008, said the company's chief executive director Andreas Helfer. The concessionaire has secured construction approval to overhaul the Varna passenger terminal, expanding the check-in, passport control and retail areas. Two stands for wide-body cargo planes and for stands for passenger jets will be added to the Burgas airport and the departures lounge will be expanded. Fraport Twin Star has also commissioned a new-design administration building for the Burgas airport. Source: Dnevnik << Back to articles |
