300,000 Romanians to Head for Bulgarian Seaside in 2007

Some 300,000 Romanians are expected to spend their summer vacations in Bulgaria's seaside resorts, according to the estimates of Romania's tour operator union ANAT.
Albena and Golden Sands are the most sought after destinations north of the Danube, ANAT spokesman Traian Badulescu told NewsIn news agency.
Balchik, a former part of Romania between the two world wars, is another popular destination for Romanians.
"Bulgaria is actively targeting Romanian tourists with an aggressive marketing campaign," Badulescu said.
Greece is the second most popular country where Romanians plan to spend their summer holidays, with an estimated flow of 200,000 tourists this year, ahead of Turkey, Spain or Tunisia.
