Bulgaria, Neighbours to Build Highway Around Black SeaArticle published on: 2007-04-18
The Foreign Ministers of the countries members of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) organization will sign a treaty for the building of a highway around the sea. The cooperation agreement allowing the highway's construction will be signed Thursday in Belgrade, ITAR-TASS has reported. Once built, the highway will be shaped like a ring around the Black Sea, connecting all the countries in the region. BSEC was created in 1992 by eleven countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.
