Summer fun and festivals in Balchik coming this summer

If you are coming to the Black Sea coast this summer, the historic seaside town of Balchik is hosting a wide range of cultural events for visitors including exhibitions, musical, ballet productions and much more.
March will feature an art exhibition; “Birds – Heavenly Messengers or what?’ with a wide variety of exhibits from Pomorie’s Historical Museum.
From the 20th till 27th May, there will be open air theatre events. Entitled “Contemporary Artists of Balchik”, there will be a range of performances and exhibits running throughout the week.
Musicals will be the theme for July and August with Grease, a ballet production of Romeo and Juliet, Scheherazade and Orchestra Without a Name all being performed.
Fans of fast paced Latin music can take part in the Summer Latin Fiesta also in August. This will feature one of Bulgaria’s most famous choreographers, Alfredo Torres.
